3 Tips To A Better Night Sleep

Ladies, with everything we have going on it's hard to get to sleep. Let's face it, even though the men are the supposed to be the head of the household, we really run the show. From cooking, cleaning, taking care of the kiddos, feeding the dog, and everything else we have to tend to, it's so hard to lye down when we are supposed to. I get it! Did you know sleep is essential to our health. Without sleep, our bodies can't rest and rejuvenate itself. That is our bodies time to start it's healing process, with lack there of, our bodies will start to not function properly. For example, we start gaining weight, we start missing our cycles, lack of sex drive, high blood pressure and the list goes on. In order to LIVE & GIVE BIG to the ones we love, we have to rest our bodies. Here are 3 tips to help you get a better night sleep.

  1. Develop A Night Time Routine- Our bodies are like men, we have to train and program them.😝 The more you do the same thing over and over again, your body will start to react to it. Start going to bed around the same time every night, even on weekends. That way, you will be tired when it's time to go to bed.
  2. Keep Your Bedroom Dark- When it's time to go to sleep, make sure ALL lights are off. This includes, cell phone chargers, night lights etc. Even when you awake in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, try really hard to keep the light off.
  3. Exercise Daily- Physical activity is so important ladies. We have to get moving!! If your body is tired and worn out from physical activity, you will have a better night sleep. If you know physical activity pumps you up, avoid before bedtime, but by all means exercise your body.
