Love Yourself (Even when you don't feel like it)

Sooooo, I’ve been M.I.A. for the summer. You know I’ve missed you, right? But I PROMISE it was for a good cause.
So you wanna know what that good cause is?
OMG, and it’s ANOTHER GIRL! Can you believe I am going to be a mom of not 1, not 2, but 3 girls? Lord help me!  We are due in Feb. of 2018 and can I say, “I am MORE than ready”. Now that my morning sickness has somewhat subsided, I can now function a little bit more. YIPEEE! There is so much I want to share with you, but first I want to ask you a question.
When was the last time you loved on yourself; not only physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually?
I want to remind you that you carry yourself the way you see yourself. 
When I was 10 weeks and 7 days pregnant, I vomited for the first time of this pregnancy. I felt soooo, out of control of my own body. I don’t know if you’ve ever felt out of control of your body but, it’s just not a good feeling. Things just happen and there’s NOTHING you can do about it. Even though I felt like I had been run over by a garbage truck, at THAT moment I decided that I was STILL going to love on myself. Because when I love on myself, not only am I becoming a better woman, I am also becoming a better mom.
With that being said, I want to give you 5 ways that you can start to love on yourself even on the days when you feel run over by a garbage truck, like I did (and sometimes still do).
  1. Let Go Of What You Can’t Control
Sometimes things are just out of our control. I know it’s hard, but I’ve learned to give it to God and go to bed, girl. Before bed, say what’s on your heart in prayer, then take a deep breath and let it go. When it comes up again and you feel yourself trying to handle it on your own, remind yourself that you gave it to HIM and move on to something else.
  1. Smile Even When Things Are Falling Apart
 Have you heard that saying it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile? Well it’s true. Smile when things are good and smile when things are not so good. Smile your way through your day.
  1. Speak Words Of Love Over Yourself
You are beautiful, you are worthy, you were made for this, you can do all things, you are smart, you are talented, you are a great mom, you are blessed, you are enough, you are loved, you are powerful, you are healthy and whatever else you want to say to yourself. Get in the mirror EVERY morning and speak words of love over yourself.
  1. Get Out And Get Physical
I know it’s been hot outside, but when you get out and get physical, you just feel so much better. Take a walk, go for a jog, a stroll, get on a skateboard, a bike ride, ride a horse just do something. Enjoy the beautiful world that has been created for you.
  1.  Eat Foods That Nourish You
Come on now, you know I HAD to tell you that. I wouldn’t be your Health Coach if I didn’t. When you eat the foods that properly nourish you, you feel, think and do better. What better way to love on yourself than to eat the foods that REALLY give your body the fuel it needs to conquer your day? Girl, I really desire for you to be YOUR healthiest busy, working mom possible and in order to do that you must love on yourself. I know it works because I love on myself as well.
