Chocolate Almond Banana Smoothie

  2 medium Bananas - peeled, sliced, and frozen

2 tablespoons Almond Butter

1 cups unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds

1 1/2 tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

1/2 cup Ice

Mini Chocolate Chips, Sliced Almonds, and Sliced Bananas - optional Garnish

1 teaspoon of honey

 

 

DIRECTIONS:

Place the bananas, almond butter, Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, chia seeds, cocoa powder, and ice in the jar of a blender.

Puree ingredients on high speed, or on the "smoothie" setting (if available), until completely smooth.

Divide mixture between 2 cups or glasses and top with mini chocolate chips, sliced almonds, and sliced bananas for a fun garnish.

Serve immediately with a spoon.
