Maqui Grape Superfood Smoothie

I have always been a snacker. In the past, it wasn't healthy snacks either, it was just something to munch on because I was hungry but didn't feel like preparing a meal at that moment cause I was either busy or didn't feel like it. Boy that was lazy huh? Over the years I started experimenting and found that frozen grapes are a great snack. You should try it sometimes. It's officially spring and we can start eating springy things. YES! Here is a great superfood smoothie recipe for you, Maqui Grape.  You will love it! Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup shredded green cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons mashed avocado
  • 2 teaspoons maqui berry powder
  • 1 1/2 cups apple juice (raw)
  • 2 cups frozen red grapes
  • sweetener to taste- honey or agave
  • Ice

Directions:

Blend all ingredients together and sweeten to taste. For an extra superfood boost 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseeds.
