Peanut-Butter Banana Oatmeal Smoothie
Ok, I know I said the last smoothie was my favorite, but this one is truly my favorite! I love peanut-butter and bananas, they both go hand in hand. I'm exited to share this recipe with you, because it's so good and it you life and women who want to LIVE & GIVE BIG need life. This smoothie is so smooth, you can drink it for breakfast, during the day, or even before and after a workout. Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 banana
- 2 tbsp peanut butter (I used The Bee's Knees)
- Optional: 1 tbsp coconut oil, a dash of cinnamon, spinach/kale, ground flax, hemp seeds
Place all ingredients in the blender in the order listed and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass, sprinkle with chia seeds or banana slices and enjoy!
You could use a full frozen banana. If you are using a full regular banana, I would add a few ice cubes, but the smoothie might be a little more watery. I like mines very icy.
