Pomegranate Orange Smoothie
This eye-opening natural smoothie will shake up any slow, dull morning. I love the fruity blend that this smoothie has to offer. Great for mornings, mid-day, or after meal. Ingredients: 1 peeled, de-seeded and chopped orange 2 tablespoons dried goji berries 3/4 teaspoons of freshly grated orange zest 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder 3/4 cup of pomegranate juice 2 cups of almond ice sweetener to taste (honey or agave)
Instructions: Blend all the ingredients until smooth and frosty. Taste and add sweetener as desired.
Bonus: Add 2 tablespoons of hemp seeds to balance out the nutrition with some extra-healthy essential fatty acids.
