Simple Pumpkin Spice Latte

I love lattes! Mama Bear's and Lattes just go together. This recipe is full of Fall. It has the perfect blend of pumpkin, chai and and cinnamon and will put you in the fall mood instantly. You can also add ice to this and make it a cold latte. Not only is this yummy, it only takes about 10 min to prepare! INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup Water
  • 3 tablespoons real Pumpkin Puree
  • 3/4 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 2/3 cup Almond Milk
  • 2 Chai Blend flavored tea bags
  • 5 tablespoons Pumpkin Pie Spice Creamer
  • Cinnamon Sticks for garnish, optional

DIRECTIONS:

In a blender, combine the water, real pumpkin puree, cornstarch, and the milk. Blend, according to your blender's manufacturer's instructions, until the mixture is smooth and well incorporated.

Transfer the blended pumpkin mixture to a small saucepan over medium heat. Slowly bring to a simmer, whisking frequently so that the mixture doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. Simmer for 1 - 2 minutes, or until the mixture has slightly thickened and is nice and creamy.

Set two mugs on the counter. Place one tea bag in each mug. Divide the pumpkin milk mixture between 2 mugs, pouring it over the tea bags and allow the tea to steep for 5 minutes.

After the tea has steeped, discard the tea bags. Swirl 2 1/2 tablespoons of Pumpkin Pie Spice Creamer into each mug. Taste, and sweeten with maple syrup or agave if desired. Serve.
